Does Fox Have Age of Apocalypse Domain Names Registered?

Apocalypse might be on his way to the big screen in 2016, but which Apocalypse story is the inspiration for the characters inclusion? Apparently, his most famous run is at least being considered by the studio.

Some pretty interesting rumors have begun to circulate about how the long awaited villain will be introduced in X-Men: Apocalypse. Without spoiling it for anyone, they’re probably not what you’d expect. (They are just rumors though) One thing people might be expecting however, is for Fox to adapt his most popular storyline, The Age of Apocalypse.

According to ComingSoon.net, the famous crossover event is at least being considered by Fox.

“It’s certainly something that 20th Century Fox has considered as ComingSoon.net has learned that domains like AgeofApocalypsemovie.com have been registered by the studio for years.”

Whether it’s a story we’re familiar with or something completely out of left field, it should be interesting to see how Fox goes about stepping up their game with X-Men: Apocalypse in an effort to compete with Marvel Studios and the MCU.

I don't want to....REALLY don't....however from past experiences, it wouldn't surprise me. It just sounds to me, exactly what either Singer or Fox producers would go for, unfortunately. Hope it's a silly rumour and i'm proven wrong!

-Cable (brainwashed, he would betray Apocalypse and side with X-Men at the end)

All except characters have at some point been strongly tied to Apocalypse(I'm counting the tv incarnations as well).

If they do that means they are just gonna screw up another great X-Men storyline

A straight Age of apocalypse stand alone film would turn out greatly and have the audience see X-Men characters like never before the way they are changed up in that comic storyline...but this is FOX were talking about here so nvm bout that idea

It is kind of sad that the movie that actually deserves and canonically has the title "Age Of" isn't gonna use "Age of Apocalypse"

AOA for me. It'd be a gr8 way to shake things up. Cyclops will be bad ass and have a prominent role, Logan can finally stop crying cuz Jean will be his woman, and Magneto (Fassbender) will lead and we get to see him go up against the grandaddy of em all, Apocalypse!

If it was then the film should have been made sooner rather than later. I just think with the success of 'The Avengers' FOX just wanted to make there X-men universe even bigger. Hopefully the X-men timeline and continuity will be fixed in DOFP.
