FX Gains TV Rights To THE WOLVERINE, 2 GUNS, PACIFIC RIM And More
FX has already acquired the television rights to multiple 2013 blockbusters (such as Iron Man 3, Man Of Steel and Star Trek Into Darkness), and now the network has gained The Wolverine, this weekend's #1 film 2 Guns and more.
FX purchased the television rights to many 2013 blockbusters already, including Iron Man 3, Man Of Steel, Star Trek Into Darkness, Fast & Furious 6 and more. However, the network is still moving forward as it has now acquired the rights to the top three movies at this weekend's box office: 2 Guns, The Wolverine and The Smurfs 2. FX also recently purchased the TV rights to Pacific Rim, R.I.P.D., World War Z and Despicable Me 2, among others. "We have licensed 2/3 of blockbusters and have more than twice more movies than all competitors combined," said FX CEO John Landgraf at TCA last Friday. A total of 21 movies are scheduled to premiere on the network in 2014 alone. Which of these films are you looking forward to seeing on FX?
