Hugh Jackman talked to MTV and confirmed that Wolverine 2 will take place in Japan.

"Japan is where we're heading, [and] we're starting to work on it now. We're in the ... first steps of developing that story," Jackman said about adapting Frank Miller and Chris Claremont's story arc.

He added: "I think the fans love that saga. It's my favorite saga of the Wolverine stories."

A true adaption of the Miller storyline would be amazing, I only hope this doesn't become another cameo movie.

I heard that Zack Snyder was a candidate to direct the first Wolverine movie but I think he was too busy with Watchmen.

@ShakeNBake - If you don't wanna see it, then just DON'T GO SEE IT!!! Lol. Its that simple. The rest of us, still like seeing Wolverine slice n dice people even if the story line isn't perfect, as opposed to not having a movie at all.

With Christopher 'The Usual Suspects' McQuarrie on board it looks like Bryan Singer will at least be offered a chance to direct Wolvy 2. (I hope that's the official title, lol.)

No more hack international directors taking on a big budget comic adaptation (we're all looking at you Gavin Hood). Yeah, I know Fox didn't give him breathing space but still bad choice.
