Adding to the collection of previously-seen character posters, the latest for Fox & Matthew Vaughn's much-anticipated X-Men: First Class prequel features the shape-shifting 'Mystique,' and the Hellfire Club's whirl-winding 'Riptide'.




X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men. Starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, and January Jones, the film releases June 3!

Mystique looks awesome (: she's rocking the longer hair like Romijn in X3 - Romijn and Lawrence have the same nose, lips, bone structure .. it's uncanny!

OMG! Riptide's eyes are yellow?! His hair is supposed to be stark white and he is a Marauder, not an HC member... but them's small taters compared to the *gasp* yellow eyes.

Actually he gave you just as intelligent of a response as the question you gave. If you knew anything about any kind of other culture you'd know that wasn't Japanese.

The Japanese wouldn't put the movie title, nor the character titles, in Kanji. I believe that is what you are referring too correct? The center text if I am not mistaken? Foreign names are put into Katakana, a Japanese writing style created specifically for foreign and borrowed words.

The only time a name would be seen in Japanese Kanji is if it is a traditional Japanese name, such as Yamada. Even Chinese names, which also use Kanji (though the Chinese version of Kanji which is severely different) are written in Katakana usually.

I believe you owe this man an apology and should rethink insulting others when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

I have to admit I thought this movie was going to be horrible and that I wasn't really going to even bother with it. With all the recent trailers and tv spots I have to take that all back. this movie looks really promising
