The May issue of GC magazine will feature a lingerie wearing Jennifer Lawrence, and for the article GQ caught up with Jennifer's director Matthew Vaughn and they discussed his reasoning for casting her as Mystique in 'X-Men: First Class' as well as why he thinks a lot of young actresses wont make it in the business.

"There are a lot of young American actors right now who haven't got any technique," director Matthew Vaughn told GQ.

"And to be blunt, a lot of these kids assume that just by having a good set of teeth and t-ts, smiling for the camera's gonna be enough," he explained. "I needed someone who could act."

"She's got a set of balls on her," Vaughn says

wow I knew Mystique could change into anything, but growing a pair of balls, wow thats more than the movie version of Cyclops could do

we'll see...i haven't seen any of her films but in my opinion she doesn't look like mystique at all!!! her cheeks are too chubby and she looks too cute for me...she conveys no sense of a menacing villain...i hope i am proved wrong by her "riveting performance" that the film makers keep proclaiming she has done

and even though it was a joke when mystique morph into a man her reproductive organs change too....she originally was going to conceive nightcrawler with Destiny by changing into a man but the comic authority code was against all homosexual inuendos at the time...

i think its more of a love of the xmen conflicting with anybody who dares interperet the source.... like if the rosetta stone came with a billion people who knew their own version of translation, many of them would just keep telling you, you were translating it wrong... or if that doesnt work for you try this... its like your very first girlfriend... you love it and you know every inch of it by heart... you could find your away around it in the dark.... no matter who the next guy is that gets to explore it and find his way around... no matter the circumstances, part of you is gonna hate that person just a little because you think your way is right.. and damn anybody else that be puttin his hands on my material... lol pretty sure it stems from something like that... but more xmen related....

I'm just going to watch this movie with an open mind, we've known since the movie in 2000 that the continuity is messed up in this franchise. 11 years later still [female dog]in about that?

I'll jusge the film as a whole rather than on its "comicbookness", if its a poor film like XMO Wolverine then I'll start acting up.
