CANNOT wait to see what is done with Banshee in this film, I have always felt he was an under-rated character, from the clips and trailers, I get the feeling he is going to become very popular.

The visuals look outstanding and well-done to me, I prefer them over Thor's or Green Lantern's so far. Loved this clip, the way that Erik gave Banshee that shove off of the edge so that he could reach his full potential hinted towards his future as Magneto.

That's like someone getting angry that Heimdall was Black and not related to Sif in Thor. Just because the characters have been altered does not mean that this will be a horrible movie. Miss out on it if you want to, but I'm pretty sure you won't.

Now please.. Hear me out

It's been said/rumored that "BISHOP" had a cameo/small roll in FistClass. Now, Him having ANY part what so ever in this film should tell any/all of us X-FAN's that there will be some sort of time continual disruption of some sort, to explain the continuity issues of the other (sorry but, failed) x-flick(s)

I've said this for MONTHS now only a hunch but listening to recent interviews I'm becoming more and more convinced that I'm right. Vaughn went into this thing knowing how pissed the fanboys, comic readers, and critics are/were about the last few installments. That being said, I'm sure He did everything he could (THAT FOX WOULD ALLOW) to set things right..

I'm very excited about the new direction this franchise is going in. Look at the latest StarTrek flick! Brilliant!!! I have a feeling this is kinda where they're going with this. That's also probably why the "reeboot" questions have had such mixed answers and responses.. Make sense??

@LEEE-

I'm a "pure" X-man lover. Been one since 1980. I know pretty much everything there is to know about "the original 5". And yes, I am EXTREMELY excited to see this! CB writers have taken liberties with the X-men and it's characters for years. They've constantly changed story lines, character backgrounds, even their powers. And now a filmmaker does it and we should get pissed? Sorry pal, but your grip on things are a little too tight. I can't wait for June 3rd!

I WAS A BIT PISSY ABOUT HOW THEY WERENT STICKING TO SOURCE MATERIAL, BUT NOW I'M GETTING "GRAB COOL STUFF AND THROW IT INTO SOMETHING ENTERTAINING", DIRECTOR WAS PRETTY BLUNT ABOUT THAT, AND HECK WE CAN ONLY YELL AT THE GUY BEHIND THE COMPUTER SCREEN BOUT IT..BUT I SEE WHAT HE WAS PUSHING NOW..IM READY TO BE ENTERTAINED.

Wow. That actually looked... good.

I may yet be pleasantly suprised but I'm still expecting dissappointment.

@LEE- Considering everything that's been screwed up in the X-men movies already, why not just go all out and make up anything they want?

Source material? They're more like guidelines.

@ELgUaSoN - Dude's got huge balls!

@LEEE - Been a huge "pure" X-Men fan for 25 years now. The only problems I have with this movie are having piss ant characters like Darwin and Angel Salvadore in it. Since Havok is in it why not have Polaris show up? And I can't stand the thought of Magneto in another movie, although Fassbender looks like he nails the role. Overall, I look at this as an alternate dimension in the Marvel universe, one of many we've seen in the comics over the years.

If it ever gets a proper reboot, either by Fox or Marvel this is how a trilogy should go down:

Reboot movie 1 - Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel and Iceman vs Apocalypse. Begin setting up the Dark Phoenix Saga.

Reboot movie 2 - Cyclops, Phoenix, Storm, Wolvie, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Shadowcat vs. Mr. Sinister and the Marauders. Continue setting up the Dark Phoenix Saga.

Reboot movie 3 - Cyclops, Phoenix, Storm, Wolvie, Colossus, Rogue and Gambit vs. the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. Jean becomes the Dark Phoenix and then sacrifices herself to save Earth and the universe.

Did anyone acutally laugh, s[racial slur], raise smile when Banshee fell from the window? Or did you greet it with a *face plain*?

@Newbus
Not sure if you know this, but the correct spelling you are looking for is "snicker".
. . . And I just greet that scene with a simple facepalm, cause I didn't find it funny till Magneto push him off a higher platform (he deserve that for not having an Irish dialect in the movie).

Too me, the X-Men might need a Trilogy of Trilogies since there is so much to put in.

First Reboot Trilogy - Mutants Saga:
This first set of trilogy will be all about the beginning of the X-Men, where they fight to protect humans and mutants from Magneto and the Brotherhood(first movie), Sentinals(second movie), and Mr. Sinister and the mutates of Savage Land(third movie).

Second Reboot Trilogy - Phoenix Saga:
This second set will deal with Jean in her Phoenix form, continuing from the last movie. I think the villains included will be a New Brotherhood of Mutants, Hellfire Club, and Shiar Empire. During those movies, the movies will explore Jean trying to control the Phoenix Force in her.

Third Reboot Trilogy - Apocalypse Saga:
This will deal with everthing about Apocalypse, like Cable coming back in time to prevent that future from ever happening. The first movie will have Mr. Sinister and his Marauders, the second will be The Four Horsemen, and the third is the final battle against Apocalypse.

Yeah, maybe I should make either an editorial or fan fic on how these 3 movies will play out; since there is too much to write with these ideas.
