Oscar-Nominated Filmmaker Working On Documentary Exposing X-MEN's Bryan Singer

Daily Mail (verified by Variety) reports, Oscar-nominated filmmaker Amy Berg has been working on a documentary for the past two years that exposes sexual abuse in Hollywood. It will include info on X-Men: Days of Future Past's Bryan Singer.

In 2006, Amy Berg received an Oscar nomination for her documentary Deliver Us From Evil.” It focused on the allegations of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. Today, The Daily Mail reports, Berg has spent the last two years working on a new documentary that will expose sexual abuse in Hollywood. The documentary will include allegations against Bryan Singer ("X-Men: Days of Future Past"). Michael Egan, who claims he was raped by Singer when he was an underage teenager, has been in contact with Berg's film company, Disarming Films.
Miss Berg runs Disarming Films and yesterday confirmed to MailOnline she had been working on the project for the past two years. A source close to Egan told MailOnline they had been approached by the film company, saying: ‘Just this week, I got a message from Disarming Films, a documentary film company working out of Los Angeles. ‘They said they are making a documentary about a bunch of children molested by somebody in the film industry. I never contacted them back. They wanted videos and pictures of Michael and a few others he knew. ‘The film company said they were working on numerous children, now adults, now coming forward about this. ‘I was close to Michael, but he didn’t confess any of this to me until 2012. I don’t know the specifics, what the person’s name was, I just knew that one of his close friends was in that whole scene with him.’

When contacted by MailOnline, Miss Berg said she was not ready to comment on the project, confirming however, she had been working on the project for the past two years. - dailymail
According to the lawsuit, Singer told Egan he was 'sexy' and went on to masturbate the underage boy and perform oral sex on him. The director then told Egan to do the same to him, but the then-minor says he resisted. That allegedly caused Singer to push the boy's head under water. When he finally got up for air, Singer again demanded he perform oral sex and when he refused for the second time, Singer took him out of the pool and forcibly sodomized him, Egan says.
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past will be directed by Bryan Singer ("Usual Suspects"). The cast includes: Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Evan Jonigkeit, Adan Canto and Josh Helman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits UK cinemas on May 22 and US cinemas the following day.
