X-men: The Animated Series arguably remains the most faithful animated adaptation of the X-Men to date, despite an animation style that didn't age so well and some rather dated references. During its run, the show tackled legions of characters from the X-Men universe, along with adapting several classic storylines...and let's not forget that theme song! In a new installment of their Honest Trailers, Screen Junkies poked some fun at the beloved show while praising the elements that make it so beloved to fans. Check it out below!

Video says second best animated superhero series??? I'd give it third at the highest with Batman TAS and Justice League TAS as higher. I may even put Young Justice before it and probably also Spider-man.

@Beetleborg - That's fair. JL was awesome. As far as Marvel shows go though, X:TAS is up there. Spectacular Spider-Man too.

@MattBellissimo - and Earths Mightiest Heroes. Season Two of Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer are also amazing.

Seeing as they brought up BTAS, hopefully when BvS comes out on video they make one for that show and STAS too. As for this one it wasn't bad at all and funny.
