With every BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO, TV SPOT, TRAILER, and IMAGE they release, we'll have seen almost every frame of this movie in two weeks.

Let me know how it is. I'm done with foX-Men.

I like this design. It's very practical. I think regular sentinels would be way too CGI heavy and require tons of the budget for the specific details. Also, they would look really fake most likely.

The Sentinels look pretty good when they're in action.

I think they did good considering what the comic Nimrod looked like

These sentinels seem more logical rather than giant robots. I'm pretty sure it would have seemed like giant robots was too easy for the X-Men to fight.

While I very much agree with you on your other points but have you not seen the Transfomers films? That CGI is near flawless.

@TheMexicanSuperman

There's a press screening at a theatre I used to work in;)

How come when Fox makes a comic change,"Fox is gonna Fox" but when the MCU makes a comic change, they're respecting the comics and only changing what needs to be changed?

Thor should wear his helmet. Mandarin shouldn't have been an actor. Red Skull should be way more villainous and horrifying. Hank Pym should be the creator of Ultron and the same age as Tony.

I still can't decided if I think the Sentinels look freaking amazing...or kinda weird...

To me, what the Sentinels look like isn't nearly as important as how they function in the movie. Personally I never liked the building sized sentinels because they seemed to impractical. I remember an episode of the 90's X Men cartoon where a giant sentinel was trying to sneak up on Cyclops and all I could do was laugh.

or the scene where the sentinel is literally hiding behind a tree. as if it doesn't have legs.

It doesn't if the same one dies twice. lol
Bearjew
Bearjew - 5/9/2014, 11:51 AM
The reason they didn't do straight up sentinels is because Bolivar Trask is already a spoof of Tony Stark. Trask-Stark get it? That's why the sentinels look and have exactly the same weapons as Iron Man. So no, they couldn't do that
