X-men: First Class is and continues to be an over-rated movie. The film only displayed Charles' powers in an awesome way in the beginning of the movie, then dropped it for the "hand on my head squinty concentration" thing. It used mutants to fill the ranks of the good and bad teams without any concern for continuity established in comics or previous films. Watch the scene where Shaw and his cronies are storming the base where the X-kids are, that is just a terrible sequence, set, and display of acting and script writing. XM:FC felt thrown together, and then held together with some flimsy string. It was still far superior to Wolverine, but no better than X3. Okay, crushed X-Men fanboy rant over.

I have enjoyed every X-Men movie even X3 and Wolverine. Yes they had their flaws but I still enjoyed them.

Love this series of film shame it went to potty with x3 and wolverine but first class did a great job of reestablishing the franchise, I don't even care if it is not 616 accurate so long as the characters are fun and the plots don't have any major holes
