I think this is the scene that they removed, as they felt it was too similar to Inception!!

Teleporting mutant that attacks the X-Men.

Totally similar to Inception.

this movie had great acting but the CGI sucked donkey balls

@rong - Might be an idea to Google before you speak next time!!! - Matthew Vaughan - removed 12 x pages from X-men first class after Inception came out, as the scene in the X Jet spinning, came across as if he had ripped it off from the JGL building scene in Inception!!

@croniccris I agree. Because the film was better than expected and pretty much overrated, people tend not to speak on the SFX. They come close, but never reach the level of being bad enough to effect the films narrative. But the FX applied are pretty modest in places. Just enough to get by.

I hate whe the missles bend. Looks like a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Can someone tell me something? I was watching this not too long ago and was wondering about Havoc. When everyone is showing off heir poweres, he cuts down a statue. But when he's being trained, he can't hit the side of a barn. Did I miss something?

good film,erik stole the show & the siege of c.i.a building was the best scene.

it had dodgy cgi in places & featured a bunch of mutants that i really didn't give a shit about if they lived or died,continuty was bad with other x-men films.

@ neobaggins

never really notice until you mentioned it,its like the scene at the start when shaw kills erik's mother & he erik cuts lose with his powers killing the soldiers,destroying the room but letting shaw live.

You guys either have short memory or don't read articles.

This movie was rushed. Vaughn didn't have time to do any prep work and they had to send the CGI work to a bunch of different companies. The CGI wasn't that bad. It was on the same level was Thor.

@NeoBaggins
If you watch the scene closely, you'd see he hit the sides of the building as well as the statue. He pretty much hit everything around him so it would have been hard to miss the statue.

@Neobaggins, I don't have the movie yet so I'm just going off what I remember. But when he hits the statue I'm pretty sure it was a wider disc like projectile while when he's trying to hit the mannequins it's more of a beam.

@Neobaggins

It's not so much his aim that disturbed me as it was the gyrating he had to do to before firing. He's the mutant master of the hoola-hoop.

Definitely shouldn't have deleted this scene. Seems like it would have been a toned down version of Nightcrawler's epic scene in X2 in the White House.

@Unionjack Noo, the scene that was like Inception was a telepathic fight sequence that had revolving rooms or something that was similar too Inception, I don't think that scene was ever created, only in the script.

This scene would've been awesome!

I was upset not to see a Mystique fight scene, those are my favourite parts of the X-Men films!

@marvel72 Dude, that's the FIRST thing I noticed when I first saw the film. Dude just killed your mom and your mad enough to... move around furniture? I even tried to do that movie-logic thing so it wouldnt bug me. I got nothin.

@MovieTheaterLad Those are some pretty reasonable conclusion to that aspect of the film. The film makers are responsible for making that clear though. But as redleaf suggested, his powers were inconsistant and wild, so anything could happen I guess. I dont think they really thought about it.
