According to the publisher, X-Men: Destiny will include "a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice." This storyline will have players taking on the role of new mutant recruits who will have "ultimate control of their destiny."

The trailer will also be on display at Activision's booth at the New York Comic-Con, which runs from today until Sunday, October 10.
A panel devoted to the game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 9, at 10:45 AM in Room 1A06. This panel will go in-depth inside Destiny's storyline with writer Mike Carey (who has previously written for the
X-Men: Legacy comic).
