Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. How much does this actually have to do with the original Japan Saga? I see a Silver Samurai mech but does this have Mariko Yashida,Yuriko Oyama or anything resembling the original story of a forbidden marriage to a Gaijin. Im not saying this movie is going to be bad or anything but they was pressed to make the Japan saga I thought they would keep a lil of the original story. I think they just wanted Hugh Jackman in Japan fighting ninjas.

Ugh I hate the idea of using the Mech Silver Samurai idea, it just feels like the equivalent to this...



It doesn't matter if it was in the comics it just feels so cheap to do it. I would rather they would have gone with a traditional Samurai Suit not some cheap mechanized bullshit. They could have done so much better with it.

FOR THE LAST TIME: THE ROBOTIC SAMURAI SUIT IS NOT THE SILVER SAMURAI!!!!! THE SILVER SAMURAI IS THE DRIVING FORCE OF THE PLOT IN THE FILM. THE ROBOT AND SAMURAI ARE 2 ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CHARACTERS!

Vipers voice sounds dubbed, i've noticed this since the last trailer, sounds far more American all of sudden compared to the Eastern European tone we heard in the second trailer.

Oh please! Please let this movie be at least good. It shows promise that it's more of an character piece with raw and rugged action instead of the spectacle of previous films so it should be a surprise hit of the summer.
