Looks Like Someone's About To Get A Beat-Down In This Latest Image From James Mangold's LOGAN

The WponX Instagram page continues to release cryptic black and white stills from James Mangold's Logan, and this latest one features a mysterious character holding what looks like some kind of staff...

Filed Under: The Wolverine
This latest Logan image is titled simply "Weapon", and gives us a look at an unknown character (probably safe to assume it's not Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, anyway) holding some type of staff or thin pipe behind his back.

You're guess is as good as mine with this one - but, we do know that Logan is going to get a vicious beating at the hands of The Bangers at the beginning of the film, so perhaps this shot is a precursor to that? Let us know what you think in the usual place.

Logan also stars Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holdbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, and Elizabeth Rodriguez. The final Wolverine movie is set to claw its way into theaters on March 3, 2017.

CBM of 2017, calling it now....
That trailer was...something else, man...

@Doomsday8888 - naw, this doesn't have a chance of being CBM of the year. the only time a Fox movie has a chance at CBM of the year is with deadpool or if no one else releases a movie that year...I think the CBM of the year will be either Justice League or Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

@DarkeyeZ -
I think we are all in for a very big surprise! :)

Actually...this hardly feels like a CBM at all...I'm telling you, this will be unique!

@DarkeyeZ - this is one of the most idiotic things I've read on this site. Comments like this literally make you look like some dumb retard.
1) It doesn't have a chance.....Why? Simply because it's a Fox movie? Yeah, who cares about the story, the script, the acting and everything else? The most important - is the studio behind it.
2) Deadpool was pretty average movie. If you were impressed by some childish dickjokes, assjokes, sexjokes and the other *something*jokes it doesn't mean the movie was great.
3) Fox had a CMB movie of the year in 2011 and 2014.
4) Lol at JL being a candidate for CMBMOTY

@EricGEazy - you got some errors there mate, cmb? comic movie book movie of the year?, and fox having best movie in 2014 when winter soldier came out? i dont think so
i agree with 1) and you got some points in 2) but the rest just comes out of nowhere.

as for logan im really looking forward for this movie prolly my most antecipated of 2017

@Doomsday8888 - I hope so man. unlike some fools on here, I do NOT want the movie to fail, I just want it to be good. and trailers have lied MANY times in the past. I will eb seeing this movie, and I hope I walk away happy, unlike the last Wolverine movie

@EricGEazy - It's funny how you say someone looks like an idiot right before you comment and make yourself look like an idiot.
1) no one said the studio was the most important thing. why is it that idiots will take something out of context and use it as the basis of their argument. I simply said Fox disappointed in the past, so if this was good, it'd surprise me. The trailer didn't look great, THAT is what I based my opinion on.
2) That's your opinion, millions of people disagree. your opinion didn't change my mind or take away from the movie, so, why try?
3) Nope. Captain America: The First Avengers was much better than Fox butchering The Hellfire Club and being unable to get the first class of X-men correct AND Captain America:The Winter Solider and GOTG were bother better than Days of Future Past. but this is opinion, so, if you want to just say "no it wasn't" and "yes it was" back and forth, well, too bad, it's a waste of time.
4) Justice League trailer looked better than Logan trailer..sorry, it's true...but, if you wanna argue, well, see the previous response to how useful that'll be

While enjoying the trippy visuals of Doctor Strange and the Color and Slow-Mo and CGI of Wonder Woman...

...Something about a simple lead pipe and sweat and blood just makes the world all seem right.

I gotta admit, I was not impressed by this trailer at all. I know, this site is full of fanboys so the butt hurt will be strong that someone didn't like something that they liked, but the trailer was "ok" at best. This movie is going to get over hyped and be disappointing. It won't be a bad movie, it will just never live up to the hype that it will receive in the coming months. which sucks, as Mr. Sinister, Wolverine and X-23 are some of my favorite comic book characters ever.
now, I will say that the good thing about this movie is that it feels different from any other comic book movie. but yea, the trailer wasn't all that good (found it better on mute without that terrible music).

@DarkeyeZ - Lol. Johnny Cash is terrible? How can anyone take you seriously after that? Look, we all know what opinions are like. And it looks like you have already made up your mind so why even bother seeing it.(Rhetorical, I really don't care)

@McGee - Do you really want to see a movie where they emphasize how Logan is old and close to dying, wear the costume? They should have done it earlier, but this is like one of the few movies they shouldn't do it. Flashbacks aside.

@Danbito - I wouldn't mind a flashback.

I'm ready for Jackman to be done. Wolverine has been wasted at fox. He's been Wolverine 7/8 times? He's never worn a costume he's never fought Omega Red or any of the other half-dozen iconic Wolverine villains. Just a waste. Final movie could have fought half his Rogues gallery and his son and gone out with a bang...
