Lookin' pretty good, I must say. I did read somewhere on CBM that Silver Samurai and the Samurai mech are two different things, it was a comment from someone who apparently read the script...they had Picard as their user pic. Just saying, I hope it's true.

Thor: The Dark World is 2013's Captain America: The First Avenger as best Marvel movie of the year. Best comicbook movie of the year is this years X-Men First Class and that is... The Wolverine. Suck it haters!

They showed how he will defeat Silver Samurai. Well no need to see the film now. I like a spoiler or two but, geez.

In the Wolverine anime it was a big statue of a samurai that he fought. A robot would make more sense. It reminds me of that bad bot in Robocop 2.

Hopefully the train scene is the worst scene in the film.
Everything else looks great.

At the beginning of May, if you had asked me which CBM would finish 2nd behind IM3, I would have said MOS (which I did like). Now, I'm not so sure. Wolverine might get there if the story avoids getting bogged down with an overly-complex and confusing plot (my fear). Just keep it simple.

This TV spot is the first time I've actually found myself saying "this looks like it could be pretty good."

All the trailers before this just left me feeling how any woman feels when they see @Gusto naked...

...underwhelmed and extremely disappointed.

I hate the fact that the Silver Samurai looks like a robot that they borrowed from Hugh Jackman's Real Steel, and I hate Real Steel.

How many times do people have to say that the robot is a separate character?

Somebody pull up that BTS shot of Wolverine at that funeral. The one where you can see the back of Silver Samurais head in his helmet. Normal sized person. There was also a very quick glimpse of him in the one trailer. Theres more proof that they are two separate characters than otherwise.

@Spideyman: If the mechanized suit is in fact the Silver Samurai, then they changed the costume dramatically from the script. The script clearly states he has a Japanese "Red Sun" emblem across his chest. The robotic suit does not...

Also, people seem to have forgotten these set pics.

And also, if that mech suit is the Silver Samurai, yes, they would've had to change the script big time, cause most of his fight scenes are in tight, claustrophobic rooms. And the only place I see that big ass thing being able to move around in is that warehouse looking room. Plus, the Silver Samurai is an actual guy trying to become master of the Yakuza Clan. That big ass suit just seems retarded for him. More getting in the way than helping out.

Man, just seeing him say "Hey, Bub" reminds me of how no matter whoever takes his place after he quits, Hugh will always be my Wolverine. It's not about the height (Asgardian females are suppose to be the same height as above average males, if how tall someone is, is what you're pissed about, please, kill yourself). Hugh has embodied Logan flawlessly. His dedication and rugged look bode well for the 'Ol Canucklehead.

@deamon....I really hope that's the case. If they're smart (which is a giant leap of faith seeing as this is another FUX movie) they'd make that robot SHIVA and NOT the Silver Samurai.

Uhm No..... Hugh Jackman is so not the embodiment of Wolverine. He just played the character for a long time. There are tons more actors out there that could do a better job than he did. He was just the first.
