"The Pete Holmes Show" - Weeknights at Midnight/11 Central, After Conan

Angel's entire anatomy is naturally adapted to flying. His bones are hollow like a birds, making him weigh far less than usual for a man of his build. His body is virtually devoid of fat and possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. His eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. He possesses a special membrane in his respiratory system enabling him to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.

Flight: The Angel's normal cruising speed averages around 70 miles per hour (112 kph), though he is capable of diving swoops that reach up to 180 miles per hour (290 kph). He can fly at 150 miles per hour (240 kph) without the help of a tail wind for up to half an hour at a time before tiring to an appreciable degree. Though he generally flies beneath the height of the clouds ([6,500 feet)(1981 meters)he can reach a height of 10,000 feet (3000 meters)with little effort. With severe strain he can attain the highest recorded altitude of a bird in flight (African geese at 29,000 feet (8840 meters) above sea level), but he could only remain that high for several minutes. - Marvel Wiki

I know Im in the minority, but Angel is one of my fave X-Men, he as a simple power, yeah, but the idea of an Angel in our world and the meaning of that to believers could be an interesting concept to explore and something I kind of wanted on the movies. He could have had a decent subplot on X3 where he had a connection with an human character under a complex circunstance that would connect with him in a more special/mystic way, you know... a beautiful scene. Not to mention they could have showed beautiful flying sequences with him, flying all over the city or the sea, or around the school. Too many wasted things

but anyway, Id love to see Ben turning into Archangel on the franchise, it would bring so many badass moments and an actual arc for the character, related to Apocalypse of course, that would be Epic

i was kinda laughing when i saw X3 for the second time. That wasn't Angel. It was a bird man.

Archangel was the best interpretation of this character.
(+ the Archangel version wings were the best)

Angel and Psylocke on next movie would be pretty badass

She's the last X-Woman yet to have her Right debut on the big screen.

Lets see if they include her on X-Force 1 or not

...Was...was I supposed to laugh or something? Was this video supposed to be funny? Because all I see is a bald asshole and a scientific marvel.

At least they reinterpreted Wolverine in such a manner that justified the brutal verbal raping he got. But this? Holy shit. I wanna bitch slap that penis-headed psychic.

Didn't Angel have healing blood or something at one point?
jerryblake
jerryblake - 11/14/2013, 1:45 PM
@Spilox
this is what i found:

The Angel possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables him to repair damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. He can completely recover from non-fatal injuries such as slash and punctures within a matter of hours and injuries as severe as broken bones within a few days. This ability extends to being transferred by blood, thus he can heal others who come into contact with his blood, provided they have the same blood type.

I love the Angel/Archangel character but I'll have to admit that this is an hilarous parody!

I sure hope not. Psylocke is too badass to be a n unmemorable cameo in a poorly made movie.

This is okay, but, the Wolverine and Gambit have been funnier so far.

Holmes is corny, hut the stuff he is poking fun of is kinda true. Regular Angel with feathered wings is kinda weak, because offensively he can't offer much although he looks cool. On the other hand Archangel was badass. He was a harbinger of death!. And the blue skin contrasted the metallic wings perfectly. I wish he stayed as Archangel following the UXF dark Angel saga even if he was a villain. I thought I would like the new amnesiac Angel because he is now purged of Apocalypse but retains technoorganic wings. But mehh i don't like. He is now relegated to being a background character, most recently serving as Logan's recruiter. His metal wings don't even look right draped over his fruity sky blue tunic costume.
