Would you have ever guessed Kim Kardashian is a Marvel fan? We certainly didn't, but it really does appear to be the case if her eye-catching Halloween costume is any indication!
Transformed into Mystique, the social media influencer and reality TV star certainly looks the part of the shape-shifting mutant. Along the way, she gives Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence a run for their money, though Kardashian did have some interesting company.
As you can see, fellow influencers (at least, that's who we're assuming they are) Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro took a deep dive into the comics to suit up as Magik and Selene. Could they all be angling for roles in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot? If so, we certainly can't fault the sheer level of effort that's been put in by the trio here.
Mystique is a character we ended up seeing far too much of in 20th Century Fox's X-Men movies, so chances are she'll be sidelined for a while. That wouldn't be a bad thing, and we're guessing Raven Darkhölme won't be walking around naked in the MCU.
The villain has always worn clothes in the comic books, with filmmaker Bryan Singer responsible for introducing a sexualised version of Mystique that, looking back, now feels very 2000s.
We're sure that more celebrity Halloween costumes will find their way online over the next 24 hours or so, and Batwoman star Javicia Leslie has already turned heads with her take on Storm. Keeping this X-Men theme going, however, was Keke Palmer's awesome interpretation of Rogue.
