Last night, Disney+ added some new X-Men profile avatars to the streaming service. As you can see below, characters like Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Jubilee, and Jean Grey have all received the spotlight, and their likenesses are based on how they appeared in X-Men: The Animated Series.
Each of the heroes appear to have received slight makeovers, and with the live-action X-Men movies still absent from the streaming service (in the United States, at least), it's hard not to wonder whether an announcement about them could be forthcoming.
There is also hope among fans that The New Mutants could end up receiving a Disney+ premiere.
Another idea that's been doing the rounds over the past 24 hours is that some sort of revival of X-Men: The Animated Series is in the works due to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige being a fan of the show and it being viewed as the definitive take on these mutants by many fans. That could be wishful thinking, of course, but a sequel of some sort would definitely be appreciated.
For now, all we know is that there are some new X-Men avatars available on Disney+, and it's hard to say which is the coolest (we're going with either Jean Grey or Storm, though).
