As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. Mystique seems to be using her J-Law disguise a lot, for whatever reason. Doesn't make much sense that she uses that form as a default look.

Never been a huge fan of the Storm character...really hope this film can change my mind on that.

@RogerYoung to me it makes sense because when we see her natural form it's still Lawrence's face... it's blue and textured but it's her face structure. so this is just her natural face but with "normalized" skin and hair. maybe it takes less effort or concentration if she just leaves her face alone.

@MrCBM we know the actors want to spend as little time as possible in heavy make up, we get that,
I was talking more from a story-line/in-universe point of view, it doesn't much make sense for Mystique to have a favored disguise like that, because that's what it is, a disguise.

Storm,Scott,and Jean look perfect. Like they were all ripped straight from the comics. Tye Sheridan as Cyclops especially; I hope this version of Cyclops is much more akin to Grant,Joss,and Brian's interpretation of the character.

I can definitely agree about Cykes's characterization. I've just never been a fan of the character. Oddly though, I like him a little more after AVX.
