TOP FIVE  REASONS YOU SHOULD SEE X: MEN APOCALYPSE

X Men Apocalypse is being released soon, and a lot of people are watching it, while others aren't. Now, the Singer X Men franchise has received a lot of hate for it's  'wrong' iterations of the X Men, largely going the other way, and not adapting the source material, which are common complains, but let's think about this. The Singer-men movies were some of the best CMB movies of all time, and amazing films, and the only one who has done a good X Men movie outside of Singer, is Matthew Vaughn with X Men: First Class, which started the new trilogy of X Men movies.
Now, let's countdown 5 reasons why X Men Apocalypse might surprise you!
BOO!

#1: The People Who DOF AWESOME Are Helming This Movie

Remember DOF? It was an awesome film, right? Well, i think so too. The trailer was beautiful, and being an X Men fan, i went and saw it, but i prepared for the worst, and got the best.
This movie had humor, darkness, action, heart and it was an all around great film. And Bryan Singer is returning, with Simon Kinberg, and most of the cast. Now, this movie is  made by the same people who made DOF, so it should turn awesome!
And if you haven't watched it, do yourself a favor, dude, and WATCH IT! It's a fantastic movie.

#2: It's Bringing Classic X MEN To The Table (And New Ones)

The classic X Men are back. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler and even new ones like Psylocke and the villain, Apocalypse.
And for a longtime X Men fan like me, it's an extravaganza of characters! And while some aren't cast right (She's a fine girl, but Sophie Turner's american accent is questionable) and some are perfectly cast like Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers/ Cyclops (who i must be one of the few Cyclops fans in the world).

#3: Teasing A BIGGER Universe And Future

Fox is trying to make a X Men Cinematic Universe, which to be fair, sounds awesome! And with Deadpool glimpsing at the future, and with X Men Apocalypse starting a new era, because the original trilogy is not canon, and if reports are to be believed, then the next central X Men movie will adapt the iconic (and one of my favorite) storyline, Dark Phoenix, which has Jean Grey turning into the evil , Dark Phoenix.
Doesn't that sound awesome?

#4: Oscar Issac As Apocalypse

Oscar Issac is an amazing actor, and this is a major role for him. And acting wise, Oscar is doing a great job as En Sabah Nur, but his look has been controversial. Which i don't understand, because while it isn't the best, it isn't that bad either.

#5: A New Beggining (And New Wolverine)

With all that said, this is a new beggining, cause obviously after Apocalypse, we should see new movies that continue the story of the X Men, and with that, a new start and new stories.
Also, Tom Hardy for Wolverine? Please...

END.

I still don't get the love for DoFP. Did they ever explain how the heck Kitty Pryde was able to send people back in time? Also, while i am excited to see some of the classic X-Men back on the screen, they made a movie CALLED "FIRST CLASS" and completely neglected to make it about the actual first class. I still think that was just not a smart decision.

Reason #4 sucks.

They really should just make it a legacy, with X-23, and then later on having Daken be a villain in her standalone film (if they go legacy, she's definitely going to get a solo venture), have her take him under her wing for a couple film, and slowly phase X-23 out.

@LivingWeapon - i'd rather the wolverine torch be handed to x23 anyday rather then recast and that way leaves it open for hugh if ne changes his mind.

I hope it's good but I won't hold my breath. I really enjoyed DOFP.

However I am tired of the same old trick, Magneto changes sides again and again and again.

Storm is a Horseman? Despite all the Horsemen in the comics Singer makes Ororo a Horseman, doesn't know how to handle the character.

I am pretty sure Cyclops will get the shaft, Havoc has gotten more love from Singer.
