movie is suposed to be in the 60's!!! a verry young x-men. i don't mind the look. girls are hot, can't judge till i have watched it... i do plan on going affter some T.H.C, you know what i mean people, relax it's just a popcorn flick. nothing will live up to X-pectations. but non the less makes for a fun time.

Yo guys.
Matthew Vaughn is a great director. I have faith that this film will restore trust in our X-Men franchise. This is exactly what the series needed to get back on track. Taking the elements that we loved in the first two films, mixing things up, introducing new concepts and tying some loose knots.
It's too early to be so negative! Come on guys!!

Why can't you see this is a FAKE?.
Just look at the faces "copied-pasted" to the bodies...and the beast. The beast wasn`t blue at that period, and according to recent comments of the script there was not intention to show the beast in his blue haired style.

This sure isn't true to the X-men's original class and timeline. However, I do think that the look and choice of characters is not as important as the storyline, acting and direction. I am willing to give this movie a chance based on Matthew Vaughn's history of good directorship and Bryan Singer's input. So far though, it's not looking very promising.

I cannot understand why Fox released this Promo Image...it is terrible...let's hope that they'll read all these comments and will take corrective action before it is too late...
Some of the characters look so plastic, like Mystique, Beast...Emma Frost attire is simply ridiculous...!!!!!
The only positive in the picture is the yellow uniform...not great... just OK...
Anyhow...let's hold our judgement until we see more promo images...

I am taking a "wait and see" position on this. In all fairness, I remember standing in a supermarket back in 2000, looking at the cover of Entertainment Weekly (or some similar magazine) with the original X-Men cast in their black costumes. I thought those costumes looked terrible, and I expected a really crappy movie. But the costumes worked much better in the movie than in the photos, and that movie turned out to be pretty good.
This photo isn't very appealing, but maybe it's just the photo that's bad, not the whole movie.
Also, according to IMDB, Fassbender and McAvoy are only 2 years apart in age, so no problem there.
Finally, for those continuity purists out there, try to imagine this as a parallel earth or something. I like it when the movies change the continuity. Why would I want to pay 10 bucks to see a movie that tells exactly the same story that I've already read in the comics? I'd much rather watch a story in which I don't already know what happens.

The picture is poorly set up, and the heads seem to be just a tad off, and everyone is layered.... Badly. yeah, kinda looks like photoshop.
But I do kinda like the costumes. I think they are a great compromise between then classic, 60s X Men costumes and the much more down to earth designs from the first two X Men films. I like them very much.
Okay, maybe a bit too "Starfleet Uniform" for me, but they aren't terrible.
HOLLYWOOD MAKES FUN of this GUY?!!
