After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.

Starring Lena Headey, Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro, Sullivan Stapleton, Andrew Tiernan and Callan Mulvey. Directed by Noam Murro. Written by Kurt Johnstad and Zack Snyder based on the fictional work of Frank Miller. Produced by Thomas Tull, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Stephen Jones, Jon Jashni, Craig J. Flores and Marty P. Ewing for Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Studios. The film is set for U.S. release on August 2nd.

LOVED Deborah Snyder all like "Yeah, screw those posers/wannabe. WE ARE the real deal."

Although I'm still unsure about this movie, it's looking way more intriguing than I thought it would look. They're apparently taking the story to some cool ways. I'm not hyped, but I'm curious now.

I wished they didn't use 300 in the title, but it's understandable since many already know the first movie. And lol at anyone that thinks this is an unneeded sequel. Like any war, there were many battles going on at the same time. The events of 300 wasn't the only battle that took place. I just hope that the Athenians put on a good show like the Spartans. I mean, Athens and Sparta were rivals for a reason.

I'm even more excited to see 300: Rise of an Empire after this featurette. Also, I always wanted to see Eva Green playing Wonder Woman in her own solo film that would have the same style with 300 and I'm going to get this somehow in 300: Rise of an Empire.
