The second trailer for Creed II has been released, and it gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the upcoming sequel.

We catch up with Michael B. Jordan's protagonist when he's settled down and started a family with Tessa Thompson’s Bianca, but when the son of the man who killed his father in the ring emerges, Adonis will risk it all to get a measure of revenge.

Unpopular opinion: Creed is the second best film in the Rocky franchise.

@L0RDbuckethead - Neither unpopular nor wrong. It is far and away the second best film in the franchise. It’s not even close, really.

I'm afraid I'm not feeling this at all. The first one was awesome, but this looks to have more in common with one of the later Rocky sequels to me. I really hope I'm wrong.

@RorMachine - And how many people wrote off the first one after seeing the trailer? Me and I know MANY other people were pleasantly surprised how great the film was. I have my hopes up for this.

@Sage281 - his debut film The Land is really good too. Read an interview he had where he said he would have mever gotten the opportunity had Coogler not called him up. He was surprised he was handing him the keys to his baby he said. They were buddies in film school.

@Spidey91 - I once saw an article that said prior to filming F4, MBJ was 5'11" 157lbs and he packed on 24lbs of muscle for those roles. I'll give him the benefit and say what, maybe another 15lbs since? Tipping in at around 195lbs?

Florian Munteanu is a Legit 6'4" 245lbs, and he cut weight to 230 for this role.




I'm not even sure mountain covers it. As much as i want to see this, it seems like they went back to the old Rocky rules where weight classes arent a thing. No one would ever sanction this fight

@inkniron - In the Rocky movie world Rocky was a heavyweight fighter weighing in at 205 lbs (190 lbs against Clubber Lang). There isn't a weight limit is the heavyweight division.

Creed fought at light heavy in the last movie.. I don't know if this movie is going to address that, or that the story has him moving up enough to crack the heavyweight division.
