This Sunday's Super Bowl will almost certainly deliver plenty of big trailers, but a new look at Fast X is set to be released later today! In the meantime, it's been announced that tickets are now on sale for the penultimate chapter in the Fast & Furious franchise, so we'd suggest acting fast if you've been counting down the days to this one.
With that news comes a promo video showcasing the incredible A-List cast, including confirmation John Cena and Jason Statham are coming back to the high-octane series. The latter was last seen in the spin-off movie, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and it seems like all hands will have to be on deck if Dom's crew hopes to take down Jason Momoa's villain.
"He’s an incredible new character," director Louis Leterrier recently told Empire (via ActioNewz.com). "It’s 1,000 per cent Momoa." Charlize Theron's Cypher is also up to no good and seemingly aligned with Momoa's big bad. "They are bad news, but one is more afraid than the other," the filmmaker teases. "One is worse news than the other."
Needless to say, you'll want to keep your eyes stuck to ActioNewz.com for what's sure to be an action-packed trailer!
The movie's returning stars include Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood. It was also recently confirmed that Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will return as Gisele Yashar despite the character's death in Fast & Furious 6.
As for franchise newcomers, we can expect to see Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Daniela Melchoir (The Suicide Squad), and Alan Ritchson (Titans).
Based on the characters created by Gary Scott Thompson, the latest instalment takes the family around the globe from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tbilisi. Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before.
Fast & Furious 10, a.k.a. Fast X, is set to race into theaters on May 19.
