As you can see Simon Pegg's on set and plays Benji Dunn, as well as Paula Patton and of course Tom Cruise filming too. The fourth movie is directed by Brad Bird and the writers are J.J. Abrams (story), Josh Appelbaum (screenplay).











Stars: Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt), Jeremy Renner (Brandt), Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Léa Seydoux, Anil Kapoor and Vladimir Mashkov.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (also known as Mission: Impossible IV) will be released next year on December 16th, 2011.

Loved the 1st and 3rd one of these movies and I'm excited for this. Tom Cruise may be a nutjob but he doesn't make bad movies. I bet this will be great.

@tadrob- I actually liked that Knight and Day. It wasn't an amazing or thought provoking movie by any stretch but it definitely entertained me and the only problem I had with it was Cameron Diaz's face.

If it is the Brad Bird I think it is, then he actually did live action stuff BEFORE Pixar got him to do The Incredibles.

if this one is atleast on par wit that one i will be a very happy camper!...I kno everyone's eye is fixxed on renner in this movie but im lookin at Holloway 2 steal this movie!! i was a huge fan of his on Lost..maybe thats cus Gambit is my fav comic character hahaha...
I actually didnt mind knight and day...i thought cruise was baddass...jus trapped in a chick flick...but i do hav 2 say VALKYRIE was the f'n sh!t!!!!!!!!!

I have hated this movie franchise since they made Jim Phelps' character into a bad guy and made it a Tom Cruse vehicle and not about a team like the original. They need to Reboot it and bring back Jim Phelps, Barney and everyone else without making any of them villains.

Mission Impossible 3 was sooooo much better than 2. Then I realized JJ Abrams was a producer on it. So If JJ is still involved ten this will be even better!!!

I hope what I heard is true: that Ethan Hunt is on his final mission in this movie and he passes the torch onto a new character. I thought Ethan was happily married at the end of the third one and he had left the IMF? I would prefer a new lead character

I love Simon Pegg and I'll be seeing this one BECAUSE of him. MI3 was a disappointment and one of the reasons I doubted Orci-Kurtzman before they wrote Star Trek. But MI and MI2 were good, so I'll give this one a chance. That and Pegg. LOL!
