Michael B. Jordan Can't Be Stopped In The Killer First Official Trailer For TOM CLANCY'S WITHOUT REMORSE

Following the success of Jack Ryan, Amazon is all set to expand their Tom Clancy universe with Without Remorse, which will introduce one of his most popular characters: John Clark (Michael B. Jordan).

After acquiring the film from Paramount last year, Amazon Prime Video has finally released the official trailer for Tom Clancy's Without Remorse, which stars Primetime Emmy-nominee Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther; Creed) in the lead role as John T. Clark.

Clark is widely considered the second-most popular character in the entire Ryanverse, behind only Jack Ryan himself. The film is expected to adapt the events of Clancy's 1993 thriller novel of the same name, which explores his tragic origin story and details his turn from John Terrence Kelly to John T. Clark.

While this film will presumably be set firmly in the greater Ryanverse, it's uncertain whether it will actually end up tying into Amazon's Jack Ryan series starring John Krasinski. Future plans are also to-be-determined, but Jordan was originally supposed to star in a two-part film series composed of Without Remorse and Rainbow Six.

Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the SoldadoSuburra) helmed the actioner with a screenplay from Academy Award-nominee Taylor Sheridan (SicarioWind River) and Will Staples (Shooter; Sweet Girl).

In addition to Jordan, the cast features Jamie Bell (Fantastic FourSnowpiercer) as Robert Ritter, Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & SlimThe Last Ship) as Karen Greer, Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Blindspot) as Rowdy, Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2The Strain) as Thunder, Lauren London (The GameThe Perfect Match) as Pam, Brett Gelman (FleabagStranger Things) as Victor Rykov, Colman Domingo (EuphoriaFear the Walking Dead) as Pastor West, Golden Globe-nominee Guy Pearce (MementoIron Man 3) as Secretary Clay, Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for LifeThe Outpost) as Hatchet, Cam Gigandet (Never Back DownThe Magnificent Seven) as Keith Webb, and Todd Lasance (The Vampire Diaries; The Flash) as Dallas.

Without Remorse starts streaming on April 30, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

An elite Navy SEAL uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, the explosive origin story of action hero John Clark – one of the most popular characters in author Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe. When a squad of Russian soldiers kills his family in retaliation for his role in a top-secret op, Sr. Chief John Kelly (Michael B. Jordan) pursues the assassins at all costs. Joining forces with a fellow SEAL (Jodie Turner-Smith) and a shadowy CIA agent (Jamie Bell), Kelly’s mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war. Torn between personal honor and loyalty to his country, Kelly must fight his enemies without remorse if he hopes to avert disaster and reveal the powerful figures behind the conspiracy.

Doesn’t seem to follow the book one bit. However, MBJ is a talented actor and Taylor Sheridan is a tremendous screenwriter so I’ll definitely watch.

Looks like a really good action movie, glad to see Michael B Jordan continue to get roles, he looks great in it.
The action looks well shot and I loved the way he just got in the car that was on fire.

I was trying to remember which was the first movie I saw Michael B Jordan in and it was Chronicle.

Haven't read the book (or I should say listen, since I'm more of an audiobook guy), but I'll give this a try. The Jack Ryan show is great, and so is MBJ. Recently rewatched bits from Black Panther, dude killed it as Killmonger

You know what, [frick] Ray Fisher... WB was apparently courting Michael B. Jordan for Superman for years, and it would be worth it on the merits because Michael B. Jordan is a [frick]ing talented performer that any franchise would be lucky to have. Accusing them of seeking him out just to compensate for his accusations is such amazingly egotistical bullshit.

@Spock0Clock - It just really baffles me to be honest why they’d want a black Superman, they should just focus on making a Henry Cavill sequel. I really think that these studios should start to look at adapting black characters made by black writers and artists, there’s a whole company Milestone comics that was founded by black men who made great black superheroes.. Static was one of them, had a very popular animated series Static Shock, can’t we get those characters on the big screen rather than change a white character into a black character... even the other way round, I’m Latino and was pissed when the cast Tom Hardy as Bane in Dark Knight Rises, Batman has loads of white villains but the only Latino one he has they changed his ethnicity.. I just think there’s so many characters out there, bring them in. Black Panther should have crashed opened the door on any hesitation they would have about an originally black character.
