James Franco Didn't Know He Was Making A Cameo In DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES
While it was confirmed that James Franco was not returning for Fox's Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel, turns out he's having a cameo - and the actor had no idea! Hit the jump for more.
Though it has been confirmed that James Franco, who starred in 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes, would not be returning for the upcoming sequel, Entertainment Weekly reported his character would be making a posthumous appearance. Apparently, that's news to Franco, who had no knowledge of a cameo. “Wait, I have a cameo? I didn’t know that,” he told EW. “You know, I don’t even think they asked my permission to do that.” It's probably a miscommunication from the studio, so let's hope nothing serious comes out of this. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes hits theatres July 11.
