An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be unleashed on May 15.

Aww man, no voiceover in a Japanese trailer? Voiceovers are the best part of Japanese trailers.

Movie looks fantastic btw, Can't wait.

You know it would have been great if Tom Hardy wasnt trying to do an Aussie accent then this movie could have been set anywhere. Also whats with Charlize Theron trying to save female models, it doesn't feel like a Mad Max movie.

Should have cast Hugh Jackman or Chris Hemsworth if they wanted an Aussie.

If anything Americans should be making fun of Mel Gibson for being a little shit

Also, Joel Kinnamann or however his last name is spelled is Rick Flagg (according to the wrap)

Tom Hardy does awesome accents, just watch the trailer for Child 44 where he is playing a Russian. Stop whining for every movie, why they chosen this or that actor. Not every fckn Aussie sounds the same.

I really don't understand this movie. I hear a lot of hype about it but the trailer has me confused as hell.

@AbhiShake
Yes but his sounds fake like he's trying too hard.

For anyone who's complaining about his accent, Hardy's British. It's not that much of a stretch, his accent for the movie is just fine. Get over it.

So the British and Australians sound the same? Then i guess i can say that Canadians and Americans sound the same too.

Well at least we have the better Mad Max movies rather than this piece of crap. Speaking of which i'm about to do a marathon off.

@HighFlyer

I agree completely. There's no sense of plot coming from the trailers. Makes it hard to follow or care very much.

I dunno, maybe it's because I couldn't stand the original movies (I like movies with dialogue). But I'm not hyped in any way for this movie. I'll definitely see it, because Hardy and Theron are both great actors. But I have low expectations. And I have a strange feeling it won't be a massive success at all. No reason for it, but I think it'll go the way most reboots go.

@MightyZeus: That's just one line bro, you can't judge his whole voice acting for a movie from one line. Plus based on his past movies, he truely does great accents.

I really don't like nostalgic fcktards. Nobody is taking away your old DVD's. Don't watch the new version, it's as simple as that.

People fight for any reason on this site ....

Mad Max is my third most anticipated movie of the year, I can't wait.

I should be excited for this, but I'm not. I'm not quite sure what it is about it maybe it just feels to over the top? I liked the crazy cars and stuff in the old trilogy but it was all practical and looked amazing this looks like it'll be a cg fest and focus less on Max and more of the battle.

I'll still see it of course and judge it then, right now though just not amped.

Yeah Hardy can pull off an accent. This looks great imo.

Neo, apparently it's set after Thunderdome.

Don't attempt to speak for all Australians. Rather than insulted, I'm thrilled to have Hardy be the new face and voice of Mad Max. Apparently the creator and director George Miller feels the same way.

Big fan of Miller's original trilogy. That said, this new MM movie looks pretty bad ass! Seems to incorporate new action and CBM styles rolled up into a post apocalyptic epic. Definitely will see it.

This movie looks so badass! I'm glad it is a sequel instead of a reboot.

Also, the incredibly gorgeous Megan Gale is supposed to be in this movie, but I haven't seen her in any of the trailers.

She must have a small role or something.

I'm watching that show Man Seeking Woman on FX and as I'm watching the main character...I'm like...this guy was gonna be Maxwell Lord....the main villain of George Miller's Justice League film....heh.
