In July, director George Miller ("Happy Feet") described Mad Max: Fury Road to MTV as "a 110-minute chase, in which we get to know the characters and their backstory as they go." He also said that it is quite a bit like Mad Max 2 as it takes place in "virtually all daylight." Funny enough, the first image below, with Tom Hardy ("The Drop") and Charlize Theron ("Snow White and the Huntsman"), showcases a rare nighttime moment.

“MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the fourth film of George Miller‘s Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order… There’s Max (played by TOM HARDY from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.”

Yup.

In both trailers her arm has been prosthetic/robotic.
Take a look. It's pretty cool.

@KingOnslaught

Well, to be honest they really haven't shown us any more than they have in the trailer. Furiosa's arm is robotic in both trailers, they just had the prosthetic removed in that shot.

We still don't know the detailed plot of the movie outside a huge chase across a desert, although I have found some reports from people who saw a screening which gave more details regarding the chase.

I can't wait to see this film. I know it's never going to happen, I just would have liked to see what George could have done with Justice League. The idea that his version of JL was inspired by Tower of Babel and Kingdom Come would have been great to see on film.

George Miller must have the WEIRDEEESSSSSTTTTT resumé I've ever seen.
He directed all the other Mad Max(es), The Eastwick Witches, Babe, a pig in the city and Happy Feet 1&2...

For an interesting little fact, the actor playing the main villain (guy with the metal mouth) is the same actor who played the main villain, Toecutter, from the original Mad Max.
