MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE Special IMAX Preview Attached To AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER

In lieu of a new trailer, Paramount is giving us something even better as they'll be attaching an IMAX preview of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One to Avatar: The Way of Water!

It sounds like we have even more incentive to see Avatar: The Way of Water this weekend as Paramount Pictures have announced that there will be a special 4-minute behind the scenes look at Tom Cruise's hotly awaited Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One attached to IMAX screenings of the blockbuster James Cameron-directed sequel.

While it's anyone's guess what they'll show during this extended sneak peek, the newly released 15-second teaser features Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie previewing one of the franchise's wildest stunts yet, so it seems like that sequence will take priority.

We also wouldn't be surprised if the new footage ends with a brand new trailer or potentially a revamped version of the teaser we saw earlier this year with Top Gun: Maverick

Check out the new teaser below:

In addition to Cruise as the headliner, the highly anticipated McQ-directed action blockbuster will also see the return of Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Academy Award-nominee Vanessa Kirby as the White Widow, Frederick Schmidt as Zola, and Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge.

Newcomers to the franchise include Hayley Atwell (Avengers: EndgameCaptain America: The First Avenger) as Grace, Shea Whigham (Perry Mason; Marvel's Agent Carter), Pom Klementieff (Avengers: Endgame; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Esai Morales (TitansLa Bamba), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2Hobbs & Shaw), Cary Elwes (The Princess BrideSaw), Indira Varma (Game of ThronesCarnival Row), Mark Gatiss (The FatherThe Favourite), Charles Parnell (Top Gun: MaverickTransformers: Age of Extinction), Greg Tarzan Davis (Top Gun: MaverickGrey's Anatomy), Mariela Garriga (NCIS; NCIS: Los Angeles), Marcin Dorociński (The Queen's GambitVikings: Valhalla), and Lampros Kalfuntzos (No Time to Die; Ted Lasso).

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One lights the fuse in theaters on July 14, 2023; with the expected franchise finale, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two, set to arrive the following year on June 28, 2024.

This series has become better with each new release. Rewatching the series right now with my wife. Just finished Ghost Protocol. I can’t wait for the final 2.

So the movie is 3 hours 10 minutes long. This preview is around 4 minutes. Add to that the standard ads and trailers, that's around another 10-15 minutes or so depending on the cinema you're in... Just make sure you go pee pee BEFORE you enter the screening.
