With Top Gun: Maverick recently arriving on Digital HD platforms, Paramount has officially released the Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two CinemaCon-exclusive sneak peek online and it's every bit as awesome as we remember as Tom Crusie introduces the trailer for Part One as well as the world premiere screening of Maverick, where yours truly was in attendance.

On another positive note, the aformentioned Joseph Kosinski-directed Top Gun: Maverick has officially topped the $700 million mark at the domestic box office and has now become the fifth-highest grossing film ever in the United States, topping Marvel Studios' Black Panther.

Despite arriving on Digital HD late last month, the historic Tom Cruise-fronted blockbuster continues to dominate the box office, both domestically and internationally. Its worldwide total currently stands at over $1.441 billion, which makes it the twelfth-highest grossing film ever. It's now eyeing the #11 spot, where Disney/Pixar's Frozen II currently sits with $1.45 billion, but it doesn't seem like Elsa will be any match for the might of Tom Cruise.

As we already mentioned, Top Gun: Maverick is now available on Digital HD everywhere. It's expected to arrive on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on November 1.

In addition to Cruise as the headliner, the highly anticipated McQ-directed action blockbuster will also see the return of Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Academy Award-nominee Vanessa Kirby as the White Widow, Frederick Schmidt as Zola, and Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge.

Newcomers to the franchise include the aforementioned Hayley Atwell (Avengers: EndgameCaptain America: The First Avenger) as Grace, Shea Whigham (Perry Mason; Marvel's Agent Carter), Pom Klementieff (Avengers: Endgame; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Esai Morales (TitansLa Bamba), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2Hobbs & Shaw), Cary Elwes (The Princess BrideSaw), Indira Varma (Game of ThronesCarnival Row), Mark Gatiss (The FatherThe Favourite), Charles Parnell (Top Gun: MaverickTransformers: Age of Extinction), and Greg Tarzan Davis (Top Gun: MaverickGrey's Anatomy).

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One lights the fuse in theaters on July 14, 2023; with the expected franchise finale, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two, set to arrive the following year on June 28, 2024.
