No, not the one with The Rock. Millennium Films has released a second full trailer for Renny Harlin's truly appalling looking take on the "half-God" of ancient myth, Hercules. Check it out after the jump if you fancy a chuckle.

In Ancient Greece 1200 B.C., a queen succumbs to the lust of Zeus to bear a son promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the king and restore peace to a land in hardship. But this prince, Hercules, knows nothing of his real identity or his destiny. He desires only one thing: the love of Hebe, Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules learns of his greater purpose, he must choose: to flee with his true love or to fulfill his destiny and become the true hero of his time. The story behind one of the greatest myths is revealed in this action-packed epic - a tale of love, sacrifice and the strength of the human spirit.

Meet the Spartans, Ror? Damn. That was mean. It's not that bad. Well, it's bad, but not THAT bad. It's generic, it's bland, it's like new Coke. The studio that put this out should go backrupt for trying to make money off of Hercules (the Rock), 300, Spartacus etc. If Hercules did not have the Rock, it would do damage to the film, though, and that's the worse part about putting this imitation out.

This looks astonishingly bad! :O

Looks like the folks behind this were fans of Spartacus. That's great and all, so am I, but when making a high budget movie you probably shouldn't aim for it to look like a watered down version of your favourite TV show...

I'm a big fan of greek mythology, and would love to see a movie centred round the 12 labours of Hercules. There are so many stories/myths that could be great when portrayed on screen.....i'm always keeping an eye out for another big screen adaption of 'Jason and the Argonauts', the 1963 film is a personal favourite......however the likely result would be, based on recent adaptations, an over the top use of CGI (understandable for some shots) and pretty boy/poor actors....

I'm not a fan of Brett Ratner, but i do hope the 'Dwayne Johnson/Hercules' movie delivers...

I saw this trailer awhile ago and thought it was easily one of the worst trailers of all time. Not only did it look perfect for the Syfy channel, it literally cut shot for shot scenes from every recent Greek/Roman film done. Gladiator, Troy, 300, Clash of The Titans. LOL I mean give me a break.

i agree with everyone
this is kind of like troy...300 all put together
its a realistic of hercules...little fantasy

i think and i HOPE the rocks hercules will be better and he will fight MONSTERS like in the cartoon movie..
