When a terrorist bombing destroys the Kremlin, the United States government initiates a black ops "ghost protocol" and disavows the entire Impossible Mission Force. Ethan Hunt and his team are to be blamed for the attack, but are allowed to escape as part of a plan to enable them to operate in the dark, outside of their agency. However, Hunt is warned that if any member of his team is captured during their mission, they will be charged as terrorists planning to incite global nuclear war. Ethan is then forced to work with ex-IMF agent Brandt, who knows more about Hunt and his past than even Hunt himself.

Directed by Brad Bird and starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Simon Pegg, Tom Wilkinson and Michael Nyqvist, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is set to hit theatres on December 21.

@RorMachine- No , you just see it for what it is:
Another one of Cruise's attempts to stay relevant in CBM dominated film culture. He knows CBM's are where the money and future are, and owning his own production company, needs to continue be show a profit to his stockholders. But his problem is he doesn't own any major CB properties, so he keeps trying to find scripts that have a 'hero-like' quality to them. He's a tool pandering to fanboys and trying to curry our approval.
He sickens me.

I like Tom Cruise, he's been in some great movies. Looking forward to this, not because of Tom Cruise though, but to see more from Michael Nyqvist (who I only know from the Millenium Trilogy), Josh Holloway, and of course, Jeremy Renner.

And Simon Pegg's always funny.

Did you see Nyqvist in 'Abduction'?

Yeah it looks good, plus it's got Brad Bird (The Incredibles director), Simon Pegg and is produced by Bad Robot who we all know for LOST, Fringe, Star Trek and Super 8. There's a lot of quality people involved, I can't wait to see it :)
