In the film, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

"John Cale"? That kind of an outfit combo? This does seem too much like a Die Hard rip-off. Could be fun, and also a better Die Hard movie than A Good Day to Die Hard, though.

Looks to be a nice action/buddy movie, just watched all the lethal weapons and sure want a good and modern take on a buddy movie :D

Channing Tatum is just an AWFUL actor..only thing I cared for was 21 Jump Street but you take him out & replace him with someone else,no one would notice.

Sadly,Taylor Kitsch is in the same catagory as Tatum since they are both fairly young,handsome action movie types but for some reason Taylor's movies have flopped but he was really good.

Channing keeps getting movies & Taylor seems to have be forgotten yet he's much,much better actor.

Don't know what to say but it kinda looks good. Can't wait for Jamie Foxx's portrayal of Electro!

This film was made in competition with "Olympus Has Fallen", that's why their release dates are within the same year.

Anyway, I actually liked "Olympus Has Fallen", it wasn't great, but it was still decent. Hopefully, this one is too.
