After another release date delay, The Flash is now more than a year away from arriving in theaters. Whether the movie will be worth the wait remains to be seen, but with all signs pointing to the blockbuster creating a new DC Extended Universe, it's certainly an intriguing project.

The Fastest Man Alive will be getting a new costume courtesy of Ben Affleck's Batman, while the Kryptonian hero of the world Michael Keaton's Dark Knight calls home is going to be Supergirl.

Both Ezra Miller and Sasha Calle's costumes were recently put on display at a Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, offering a closer look at both heroes. The Flash's suit is a definite improvement over what he wore during appearances in movies like Suicide Squad and Justice League, and it's hard to find fault with what Warner Bros. has dreamed up for the Girl of Steel.

Costumes like these placed on mannequins will obviously look considerably better on screen, but a closer look at certain elements - such as the Scarlet Speedster's boots - is always welcomed. Hopefully, by the time The Flash finally reaches the big screen, Miller's legal issues will be resolved and won't completely overshadow what should be an important movie for the DCEU.

The Flash is set to arrive in theaters on June 23, 2023.

Meh... I don't like them. Too busy. Less is more.

Unless you're talking about me.

Anyone else notice his hands are gesturing to his crotch, like he's in D Generation X and in the middle of doing a crotch chop and shouting SUCK IT!

And then I noticed that bulge.....

@MorbidlyObryce - They kept that texturing that Superman's suit has from MOS, which makes sense for Kal being an alien, but not so much for Barry.

Flash' cowl still looks weird, probably because it doesn't fit the mannequin either.

As for Supergirl's, I kinda expected the red on the shoulders to flow into the cape. But I guess it being seperate works too. Still looks pretty good

@bkmeijer1 - is the flash costume one of the hardest to get right? Cause imo he’s basically the only hero you can’t not put in a unitard/one piece type of suit. Like you can break up the bat suit, even Superman but the flash suit kinda has to be one solid piece and that’s not even including how easy it is to make the helmet look stupid

@ShimmyShimmyYA - I think the tv shows did a good job. The second and fifth suits are probably my favorites that I think worked best.

And the Injustice suit good Flash had could translate pretty well to live-action I think (Regime Flash less so).

Supergirl's costume is really slick. Excited to see her in action.

The Ezra Flash is accurate. They even posed the mannequin like someone that has no athleticism whatsoever.

That cowl needs work... otherwise looks OK. Gota say CW current iteration looks better though.

They went pretty overboard with the abs and musculature on the Flash suit, to the point where the suit looks overly-puffy and swollen, even around the mask. For the many faults Snyder’s suit design had, it at least recognized that Ezra Miller is a lanky and wiry guy. The guy ain’t built like Schwarzenegger IRL.

I genuinely think these designs are trash. We have seen superior costumes for these characters in other live action appearances too, which makes it even worse.

[frick], the 90s Flash costume is still 100x better than this

Supergirl is unrecognizable as that character. I don’t like the suit design and think she looked better in the 80s.

@GhostDog - have you seen the side view of the suit? Looks so bad. The head looks Piccolo’s from Dragon Ball Evolution.

Awful costume, especially compared to Blue Beetle lol

I don't really like either of them. Who is doing Blue Beetle's costume design? Promote that person.

In terms of Supergirl, i personally don't think anyone will look better than season 1 Melissa Benoist. Surprising i know because it's CW but that suit was perfection.

@TheManWithoutFear - season 1 was ABC is believe. They had a little more money to put into the show.

@four20smoke - i just checked and it was CBS, but i get your point. Bigger budget or talented people or whatever the case, she looked damn good.

Honestly these costumes look like they belong in the early 2000s. What's with the weird abs?! Neither are very good.

Suits are solid. Flash's cowl looks too ill-fitting. The mouth opening is just weird.

Supergirl is great, Flash…. well I said on Twitter that at least it still has the justice league TV movie suit to say it’s better than. That’s the nicest thing to be said about it

Because her's is missing a head the height difference really threw me off. Miller is only a few inches taller than Calle.
