WANDAVISION Star Kathryn Hahn Reflects On "Agatha All Along" Following Recent Grammy Nomination

WandaVision star Kathryn Hahn has reflected on the work that went into creating the "Agatha All Along," song, recalling how they shot each of those flashback reveals and the first time she got to hear it.

To comic book fans, the reveal that nosy neighbour "Agnes" was actually Agatha Harkness in WandaVision wasn't exactly a surprise. However, the way Marvel Studios went about confirming the rumor was nothing short of brilliant, and "Agatha All Along" remains one of the catchiest tunes of 2021 (hence why it recently won an Emmy and scored a Grammy nomination).

Empire Online recently caught up with actress Kathryn Hahn, who reflected on the first time she heard the completed version of the song. "I put headphones on, listened to it and stared slack-jawed at Matt [Shakman], who was looking at me with such a grin," the actress says.

"It was going to be called, I think, 'That’s So Agatha,' but then they settled on 'Agatha All Along,' which was, of course, so perfect. [There's] no way anybody else was singing it!"

Of course, "Agatha All Along" was accompanied by a series of moments from previous episodes revealing how Agatha had been manipulating events in Wanda Maximoff's life to her liking. Hahn went on to explain how that footage was captured during production of the Disney+ series.

"At the end of each decade [shoot], Matt would say, 'Okay, the theme song,'" she recalls. "And then we would spend 45 minutes shooting my little sections for what would ultimately be the reveal. Just me clowning around staring at the camera, and that was before we had recorded the song."

The end result in WandaVision was magnificent, and you can relive it by watching the video below:
