A video of a promotional spot aired recently on The Hub network was uploaded onto YouTube and features our first good look at the grave situation that the Autobots will face this season. With the destruction of the Autobot base the members of Team Prime have scattered across the country to regroup while fending off attacks from a now deeply entrenched Decepticon force on Earth. To make matters worse the Decepticon ranks will further increase with the reappearance of the evil genius Shockwave along with the results of his latest project. In an effort to genetically produce a new species most adept at tracking down and destroying the remaining Autobots his efforts in genetic manipulation have resulted in the recreation of a more primitive and hostile form of Cybertronian life known as Predacons. Can the Autobots fend off this new threat and save the world from Megatron's plan for total conquest of the Earth? Will Optimus die for the last time?? Either way the show is worth watching for the outstanding vocal performance work alone.

The new season will debut Friday the 22nd of March on the Hub network preceded by an invite only screening of the first two episodes of the season at the Universal Globe Theater in Los Angeles. This event will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 7:30-9 PM and will include a QA session with some members of the cast and crew of the show following the screening. Those wishing to attend can enter a contest for a chance to win 2 free tickets to this exclusive event by clicking the image below.

Cartoons are made to sell toys. You create a new show to revolve around new toys.

As a kid I was a huge fan of Beast Wars. For some reason though i wasn't big on Transformers. Anyway, if this is partly based on Beast Wars, COUNT ME THE [frick] IN!!!

I even remember the old cgi'd show...with the gorilla as the leader, the main villain was a t-rex. Great old memories.
