Beware the Batman, the animated show from Warner Brothers, has been shortlisted to win the award for Childrens Animated Programme at the Daytime Emmy Awards.

This is surprising as cartoon Network recently announced plans to air the remaining episodes at 3am, ironic its possibly receiving a Daytime Emmy award.

The show faces competition from Nickelodeon's The Fairly Odd Parents, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness and Monsters vs Aliens, and Netflix original series Turbo FAST.

The nomination follows former DC Nation show Young Justice winning an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.

Are you sad to see the show go, do you think it'll win? Sound off below!
