About DC Nation:
DC Nation is an exciting one-hour block of original programming and exclusive content on Cartoon Network that's based on the DC Comics library of legendary characters. Saturdays at 10a/9c on Cartoon Network! The Creature Commandos are a fictional DC Comics team of militarized superhumans, based on supernatural creatures of legend that originally operated during World War II. Making their debut in Weird War Tales #93 (November 1980), the team was created by J. M. DeMatteis and artist Pat Broderick. The original team consisted of Lt. Matthew Shrieve (a normal human), Warren Griffith (a werewolf), Sgt. Vincent Velcro (a vampire), Pvt. Elliot "Lucky" Taylor (Frankenstein's monster) and Dr. Myrna Rhodes (a gorgon). In The New 52 (a reboot of the DC Comics universe), a new version of the Creature Commandos were introduced and featured in the pages of Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E.. This incarnation of the team works as field agents for the secretive organization S.H.A.D.E., and are led by Frankenstein. The rest of the team consists of Khalis (who appears to be an Egyptian mummy), Warren Griffith (a werewolf), and Vincent Velcoro (given vampire-like powers through a modified version of the Langstrom formula). Griffith and Velcoro were both originally humans who volunteered to be transformed by Dr. Nina Mazursky, who later transformed herself into an amphibious creature resembling the Gill-man in order to fight alongside the team.

@ American Patriot.

Man, what a genius you are. The SHADE characters have nothing to do with anything related to the GOTG. They have been around for years... Long before this incarnation of the GOTG even existed.

I thought that this was an old Hanna-Barbera cartoon, there, for a second. I was just waiting for Captain Caveman to show up. Or Thundarr. Or the Herculoids.

The Creature Commandos are kind of a knock off of my more beloved Marvel's Legion of Monsters. See if you can spot the Morbius The Living Vampire and Jack (Werewolf by Night) Knock offs. But Oh, My God, this is hilarious!

While this was funny, I really wish that DC would do a serious treatment of the Creature Commandos. There is potential to the property, if given proper treatment and care, and it would be a shame for them to be stuck with only a parody to represent them.
