Yesterday, I was wondering if there had been any new word on when The Avengers second season would start. I headed to IMDB(The Internet Movie Database) to look up TV schedules for another show and decided to look up The Avengers: EMH. After coming to the page, I noticed there was a new entry for season two so I decided to click on it. Low and behold, it says the first episode of the second season was going to air Oct. 20th and even had an episode title and brief synopsis:
The Private War of Dr. Doom (#2.1) ---
The Avengers team up with the Fantastic Four to battle Dr. Doom's armies.

20 October 2011
I hope this is true because a while back I remember one of the show's producers saying we wouldn't see a second season until next year. From my experience of IMDB, when it comes to TV schedules, it's always been very accurate. It still surprises me what you could unintentionally stumble onto on the internet.

UPDATE: 11/11/11 - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the premiere of season two has been delayed until 2012. Even though this article is a couple of months old, I wanted to make sure people knew about this.
