Eliza Dushku Voicing She-Hulk For HULK & THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H.

Adrian Pasdar has revealed to IGN that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress, Eliza Dushku, will be voicing She-Hulk for the animated series Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H..

Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. is an upcoming American cartoon series based on the superhero character by Marvel Comics. The series is set to air on Disney XD in early 2013. Paul Dini, who is currently working on fellow cartoon series Ultimate Spider-Man, is slated to be part of the creative team of Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.. The series will feature appearances by the Green Hulk, the Red Hulk, A-Bomb, and Hulk's female counterpart She-Hulk. Hulk's son, Skaar, has been announced to be featured in the series as well.

Eliza Dushku is best known for her starring role in Fox's short-lived series, Dollhouse, but she has also been lending her voice to Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the animated film, Batman: Year One. And according to Adrian Pasdar, who voices Iron Man, she'll be voicing the role of Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk.

Adrian Pasdar revealed the news to me today, when we spoke about his recurring role on the new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series, where he voices Iron Man.

Pasdar, who first voiced Tony Stark in the Marvel Anime: Iron Man series, revealed he would also be guest starring as Iron Man on the new Hulk series. He noted that he'd just been doing voice work on Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. the other day with Eliza Dushku, adding, "She does She-Hulk."

Noooo! She'll tank it, like she does every show she's ever been on. Even if she is just a voice! ><

Funny, I really NEVER did pay attention to Eliza Dushku in any role she might have been in. Had no idea she played Arnold's daughter in True Lies. She was pretty decent as Catwoman, and I'm sure she'll do fine as Jennifer.

She is an AWESOME voice or live action actress!

She was so great as Catwoman and Rubi Malone in WET! She has tanked every show she has been on? Really? No.

Buffy? Did she tank that?
No. Actually, she had one of the largest fan vases because of her rolein that, so good job with sounding like an idiot.

This is going to be great, just because of her.

I'm rather amused by the animosity towards Ultimate Spider-Man displayed here. Yes, it's rather silly at times, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Teen Titans were for that. What were you expecting? Something "dark" and "serious"? We're talking about Spider-Man here. Spidey, properly written, is NOT a "dark" character and doesn't work very well played serious. It's also aimed at kids, NOT adult comic geeks. I'm sure kids find the whole thing quite entertaining. It's not without fault certainly. The whole 'hero in high school' thing has been done to death, and at times, it does get a bit TOO silly. Still, after watching a few of them, it shows potential to turn into something good. The animation is also quite good.

Now, as to this "Agents of SMASH" thing, it sounds pretty ridiculous. The involvement of Dini means it may turn out better than it sounds. We shall see.

This series better be more spectacular and less ultimate.

Eliza's gonna have to be funny. She has the voice for it though.

Now let's hope Lake Bell can nail a live-action adaptation.

Well, I think this pretty much confirms the death of Avengers EMH. Whatever incarnation the Hulk shows up in on the 'new' Avengers show Loeb hinted at, Hulk most likely won't be a main character if he has his own series running at the same time.

Dushku definitely is hot! Was a great Catwoman. She'll be decent as She-Hulk, I just hope they don't try and play up the sexiness as much as they did in the 90's cartoon. I mean it's cool and all but kids are watching . We don't need the sexy saxaphone music everytime she shows.

A good portion of her talent is definitely her looks so it is surprising she is doing voice work lately.

My real fear is that the rumor of A:EMH not being renewed is true. The word being bandied about is that Loeb wants to replace it with a show done by Marvel's animation division (that does Ultimate Spider-man and this show) that would be more directly based on the cinematic universe instead.

Well Hulk is obviously gonna be in the same continuity as Ultimate Spider-Man if Adrian is voicing Iron Man in both show. It just remains to be seen if the awesome Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes is going to survive and end up in the same continuity

Please make Avengers keep going, if the last TMNT animated series could get 7 seasons of 157 episodes, SO CAN EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES!

I just hope she manages to keep the legal eagle aspects of ol' Jenny part of her characterization. Has Dushku ever played a lawyer before?
