A wealthy playboy and a Chicago cop both return to Gotham City where their lives will intersect in unexpected ways.




"Year One", later referred to as "Batman: Year One", originally was a DC Comic book story arc written by Frank Miller, illustrated by David Mazzucchelli, colored by Richmond Lewis, and lettered by Todd Klein. It appeared in between issues #404 to #407 of the Batman comic title in 1987.
