Well here we have it folks. First Maleficent, then Cinderella, Now according to Deadline Disney is having the writer and director of the film Listen Up Philip Alex Ross Perry develop a live action film based on A.A. Milne’s creations. The film has been described as such.

The focus will be Christopher Robin as an adult, which brings him back to A.A. Milne’s famous bear and the Hundred Acre Wood.

This appears to be due to disney wanting to retools all of their properies after the financial sucess of Maleficent and Cinderella.   This is also after Disney hired David Lowery to Co write and Direct Petes Dragon.

Disney is slowly starting to become a shell of it's former self. At this point Disney should erase their name all together and just exist as the entity that is Marvel studios.

@Bulldawg2014 IF they can report on Maleficent and Cinderella. Then i think this fits too. ITs in the same vein as that film.

Frickin' NO!!! Of all the properties, why on earth Pooh!!! He is meant to have that preserved, nostalgic feel. I'm all for a new moive, the last one was great, but in NO WAY do I want some CGI/Live-action monstrosity to be added to the franchises name!!!

so basically it will be a movie about an adult and his imaginary friends from Hundred Acre Wood ? I can relate to that. Running in forest naked, talking to trees and owls. And all that shit. Been there. Done that ;)

Disney needs to jump on that live action Aladdin, we're talking huge potential. Get Peter Jackson and you got a hit

@KingJames A live action Aladdin makes a hell of a lot more sense than a live action Winnie The Pooh.
Emblemmaniac
Emblemmaniac - 4/2/2015, 11:54 AM
@JamesMann

Well, those (besides Dumbo) you can at least se potential in a live action version of it.

Dumbo and Winnie The Pooh... Not so much

@MrCool210

Sigh... They have so many other animated movies that could work as live action. And Alladin sure could be one of them
jerryblake
jerryblake - 4/2/2015, 12:02 PM
Alladin, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame could all work. Pinocchio, maybe. Everything else, including CGI animals - not so much.

Alladin and Hunchback would be the best choices for live action movie.

I hate Disney. Marvel and Pixar are the only things that have going for them.
