The latest animated film from DC, Batman: Year One (based on the classic graphic novel by Frank Miller), finally hits stores today. However, many have already watched the film last week, since it was released onto iTunes and was leaked onto the web right before that. I was among those who saw it right before I heard it was on iTunes, and some of you know that I seriously loved the project (click here for my review, if you haven't read it already). And obviously, many more will see the film soon since it's now available on DVD/Blu-Ray. So for those who's seen it, what'd you think of it? Cast your votes in the poll below...

Pick up Batman: Year One on DVD/Blu-Ray today!

it was very good but too short, should of been 80 minutes long & each issue of the 4 part story should of been 20 minutes long, that would of been better.

The movie was great, for a 1hr plus something animated movie, I could say this is even greater than other comic book movie adpatations like punisher, daredevil etc... Yeah batman's voice was not that great, but the story really is impressive.. I feel like watching Nolan's batman! :) the ending scene was really like batman begins.. Im waiting for batman to show up but he didn't :)

It was a great movie in a way that I wasn't expecting. No aliens or insane villains. It was a cartoon, but never once felt like one. And it felt like you could mash Batman Begins with it and tell an awesome story.

SUPERGUY - The voice wasn't the best Batman voice ever but it shouldn't determine how you view the movie. But I understand your concern with the blood. I was a little upset at first, but then the police did destroy the building and a few of the officers did get beat up inside of the same building. And with all the crackheads that have been in out that (I assume abandoned)building and the fact that its just rubble now, my mind was put at ease.

I really enjoyed it. Always been a fan of the comic and this was quite faithful. Still think Mask of the Phantasm is best animated Batman origin story.
