Freddy Kruger to voice a villain in the upcoming animated series

Robert Englund, whom many of us know as Freddy Kruger in "Nightmare on Elm Street", has said via his Twitter page that he will be voicing a villain in the upcoming "Green Lantern" animated series debuting next year.

'Just finished voicing a villain for the new GREEN LANTERN series. Worked with my buddy, Spiderman Josh Keaton.'

No word yet on which villain Mr. Englund will voice.This is not his first go-around with voice acting for a DC series. He previously voiced Felix Faust in the "Justice League" animated series.


More information will unfold during the New York Comic-Con on October 9th. "Green Lantern" lands on the Cartoon Network.

No other word on who is voicing any of the other characters, including Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris, and Kilowog, among others.
