We're only a few months away from the release of the highly anticipated Incredibles 2, but fans who can't get enough of the Parr family's adventures might not have to wait until June to get a taste of what the heroes have been up to since we last saw them.
Dark Horse has announced a tie-in graphic novel intended for all age groups, titled Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2: Heroes at Home. The book will center on the two eldest children in the Parr family, Dash and Violet, as they look after the family home while their parents are away.
However, it sounds like even typical household chores and errands can get pretty complicated for the superhero kids. This is especially true when their younger brother, Jack-Jack, starts to make use of his many superpowers.
The comic will be written by Liz Marsham, known for Disney Princess Beginnings, and illustrated by Nicoletta Baldari (Star Wars Adventures: Forces of Destiny).
Dark Horse is also releasing a three-issue miniseries, Crisis in Mid-Life! & Other Stories. The series will include parallel stories, with Mr. Incredible telling Jack Jack about the glory days of superheroing, and a modern-day adventure where Mr. Incredible battles the supervillain Bomb Voyage.
The series will be penned by Christos Gage and Landry Q.Walker, and drawn by Gurihiru, J.Bone, Andrea Greppi, and Roberta Zanotta.
Both the graphic novel and series will be released later this year, but a date has yet to be announced.
