Incredibles 2 is due digitally next week and in anticipation of the home release, EW has released a sneak peek at the bonus short that will be included. Titled "Auntie Edna," the animated short will give fans a look at what happened off-screen when Edna Mode was babysitting Jack-Jack.
If you recall from the movie, an overwhelmed Bob brought Jack-Jack to Edna seeking help to control the baby's emerging superpowers. Though initially reluctant to babysit Jack-Jack, the eccentric fashion designer developed a strong liking for the baby - mostly because of his extraordinary powers which provided her an opportunity to design and create the ultimate super suit for him.
In the newly released teaser for "Auntie Edna," we see Jack-Jack walk the imaginary runway as he models his brand new super suit for the designer.
Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in "Incredibles 2"-but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. It's a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again-which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.
You can enjoy the full short when Incredibles 2 releases digitally on October 23. It will be available on Blu-ray on November 6.
