Disney Announces Release Date For THE INCREDIBLES 2

Disney continues its aggressive acquisition of movie-release real estate as they've just announced the release date for the highly anticipated sequel for Brad Bird's The Incredibles. What do you hope to see when Mr. Incredible and co. return for more familial 'superheroics'?

Disney's Marvel Studios just announced release dates for Ant-Man & The Wasp, Black Panther and Captain Marvel.  In addition, Disney has also set the release date for The Incredibles 2.

The sequel to the smash-hit 2004 animated blockbuster will arrive in North American theaters on June 21, 2019.  Previously, Bird stated that the sequel will not look to make any specific statements on the current trend of superhero films.  Instead, Bird will look to explore a more personal element of Bob Parr and his family.  "I don't think that kind of idea stays interesting for very long. ... For me, the interesting thing was never the superhero part of it. It was more the family dynamic, and how do superhero things play into that."

Cause we have to get Cars 3, Toy Story 4, Finding Dory before a sequel people actually want.

Dear gawd. This movie came out in the early 2000's. WTF Disney? We should hav had a trilogy by now

How is it we got Cars 2 which no one wanted and now we're getting Cars 3 which 3 for sure no wanted before a movie we do want? The Cars series only is for merchandise, but you could just as easily sell Ircredibles stuff too. Everyone knows Cars is only for the merchandise when even the Disney execs said Cars 2 was a failure. So by that year we could have gotten Incredibles 3 or even 4, but no we get another Cars film.

I've heard it is gonna be called Incredtwobles and be animated by Trank in a Hentai-style with DrOctopus as the main bad guy. Any truth to that rumor?
