For any interested, it has been reported that the new "Thor: Tales of Asgard" will be a massive spoiler alert for the film itself check it out below and Good Day Peeps!

The new "Thor: Tales of Asgard" animated DVD may be the first film to need a "spoiler alert" warning label stuck onto its cover. The plot of this movie is nearly identical to director Kenneth Branagh's blockbuster take on the comic book Thunder God, which goes a long way in explaining why Marvel and Lionsgate released this effort nearly two weeks after the live-action "Thor" hit theaters.

Thor heads off to the realm of the Frost Giants with Loki and the Warriors Three in tow and sparks an inter-dimensional incident. In both films, this totally pisses off Odin, Thor's gray-bearded buzzkill all-father who's always going on about diplomacy and restraint like he's John Kerry or something. This time around, however, Thor isn't out to launch a preemptive strike with faulty intelligence. He's only after the flaming sword of Surtur the Fire Demon so he can impress his dad.

1. This already came out.

2. It wasn't THAT similar to Thor, but it did contain some similar story elements.

so then it NOT identical to the live action movie then. Also Sif was in the Frost Giants world also, not just Thor, Loki, and The Warriors Three....also THOR was tricked easily by his brother to counterattack and the Giants want the Casket of Infinite Winter, so they replaced it with a fire Sword.

I saw it too. It's not that similar in anything except a few plot elements.
Basically this is a story about how Thor became the warrior he is, how he alined with the warriors three, the start of he and Sif's relationship, and Loki starting to realize his true nature.

I bought this Marvel Animated Movie the day it came out, and like all the others (With the exception of Doctor Strange), It sucked monkey's balls. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it.

This movie sucked on so many levels. Why is Marvel going more childish with their animated movies? Hulk VS was awesome! But Next Avengers, and this Thor garbage were something my 2 year old nephew would like...dissappointed
