Talking to IGN about Yesterday's Ultimate Spider-man Episode "Back in Black" (Reviewed here) The show main writers Man OF Action (Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey and Stenven T. Seagal) Revealed that it was their idea to make this series Venom the alter ego of Harry Osborn instead of Eddie Brock.

Man of Action: “The pages were all still blank and we were in ‘anything goes mode.’ We proposed Harry. Marvel liked it and we ran with it.”

Cort Lane, who is the Vice President of Animation Development & Production at Marvel Animation, reveals to IGN that there are currently no plans to include Eddie Brock, the reala Venom from the comics and other tv series.

Cort Lane: “Nothing is planned for Eddie Brock so far, but there are a lot of Spidey characters (like Eddie) that we want to explore in the series so he may very well appear in future seasons.”

Switching gears to The Green Goblin, Spider-man's deadliest foe and also the alter ego of Normn Osborn, Lane had this to say: “The fans will have to be patient to see Norman’s eventual transformation to full-fledged villain. Pay close attention to his relationship to Doc Ock, because that will undergo some serious twists and turns as Otto comes into his own as a villain. The Ock and Venom storylines will set up what the fans are waiting for from Norman.”

Yeah this show is f'ing up the whole story of Spider-Man cancel it fast please do another spider-man cartoon true to the spider-man everybody knows, quit starting from the beginning on every show and movies too most of us know the real story of spider-man and Venom already, just tell a story later in Peter's life instead of starting over all the time and messing everything up... The Avengers EMH and Young Justice are the best comicbook catoons i've seen in a long time. I hope the Avengers doesnt get cancelled and Spider-Man does it sucks..

I'm done with ultimate spider-man. I gave it eight episodes already and sure it's funny but spider-man's doesn't seem to be going anywhere improving or anything. Avengers seem more of a show worth following but this show isn't that worth waiting every Saturday to watch. Unfortunately my lil brother likes it so I can't stop recording it.

Seriously, people who are still trying to defend this show are either in denial at their own Foolis.........ehm, "opinion" for watching the show. It sucks. PERIOD. Marvel should fire everyone who was involved in the show, and make a PROPER ONE that will make 2 year old kids and 60 year old men happy. :D Let's all hope Marvel does it right next time. :D
